Frequently asked questions

The questions that remain. Answered directly.

This page covers the questions that typically arise after reading the product pages — about safety, usage, the guarantee, and how the products work alongside each other. It is not a product description, a returns policy, or a support guide.

If your question is not here, contact us directly. We respond within one working day and will tell you honestly whether a product is right for your situation — including when the answer is no.

Previous solutions and scepticism

  • The cushion, the heat pad, the TENS machine, the foam roller — each addressed one part of what sitting does to the spine. None physically increased the space between the vertebrae.

The VerteSync Pro addresses all three things simultaneously: compression between vertebrae (airbag traction), restricted blood flow to lumbar tissue (heat), and involuntary muscle guarding (vibration). One mechanism is a workaround. Three working at once is structural.

If you do not feel a meaningful difference within 30 days, contact us — full refund, no forms, no return required.

  • Airbag traction physically reduces the intradiscal pressure that sitting creates — the same mechanism used in physiotherapy clinics. Heat increases blood flow to compressed tissue. Vibration releases the involuntary muscle guarding around compressed vertebrae. A TENS machine interrupts the pain signal; the VerteSync Pro addresses the compression that generates it.

  • Physiotherapy improvement reverses because the desk re-compresses what the session decompressed. The VerteSync Pro is used daily — fifteen minutes, consistently — so decompression happens as often as the compression does. Results build cumulatively across consistent daily use, not from a single session.

Safety and suitability

  • For desk-related lower back compression without a diagnosed structural condition — yes. The VerteSync Pro applies the same mechanism used in physiotherapy clinics, gradually: pressure builds slowly, you control the level, the airbag expands to a fixed maximum and cannot over-extend. It is designed for unsupervised home use.

If you have a diagnosed spinal condition — disc herniation, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, or osteoporosis — or if you have been advised against traction, consult your GP first. Do not use it if you are pregnant.

  • Consult your GP or physiotherapist first — this is a firm requirement, not a precautionary disclaimer. For general desk-related lumbar compression, no medical clearance is needed. For a diagnosed condition, it is. Contact us if you are unsure and we will advise honestly.

  • No. It is designed for chronic lower back pain caused by accumulated compression from prolonged sitting — not for pain from an acute injury, surgery, or diagnosed structural condition. If that applies to you, consult your GP first.

Usage and protocol

  • Every VerteSync Pro includes the Desk Recovery Protocol — a printed guide covering positioning, which setting to start with, and what to expect each week. The protocol is based on the session structure used in clinical traction settings. You will not need to guess.

  • Daily use produces the best results — compression accumulates every working day, and the protocol is designed to match that frequency. Missing one day will not reset your progress. Consistent use over 3–4 weeks is what produces the cumulative effect.

  • Yes. The fifteen-minute session is compatible with low-intensity desk activity — reading, a video call with the camera off, or a scheduled break. You do not need to stop working to use it.

Results and timeline

  • Most customers notice the first meaningful difference between days 7 and 12 — a morning with less bracing, an afternoon where the lower back is not the main distraction. The cumulative effect builds over 3–4 weeks of consistent daily use.

  • Some customers notice a change after the first session; others do not. Both are normal. A single session produces a brief decompression effect — the lasting benefit comes from cumulative daily use over the first two to four weeks.

The guarantee

  • If you do not feel a meaningful difference in your lower back within 30 days of consistent daily use, contact us. The process is as follows:

No forms. One contact — that is the entire process.
No return required. The device is yours to keep, regardless of outcome.
No usage questions. How often you used it is not asked and is not relevant.
Full refund to your original payment method. Not store credit. Not a voucher.
Refund issued within 7–10 working days. No inspection period. No delay.

The only thing you are committing to is fifteen minutes a day for thirty days.

  • Thirty days is sufficient to know. Most customers notice the first signal between days 7 and 12; by day 30 the cumulative effect is clearly felt. A longer window would not produce a more reliable answer.

  • Private physiotherapy in the UK costs £65–80 per session. A standard six-session course runs £390–480 — and the benefit reverses once sessions stop, so most people who go this route need it repeatedly. The VerteSync Pro costs £97. One payment. Used every day. Yours permanently. Less than two physio sessions — with no appointments, no waiting list, and a 30-day guarantee that removes the financial risk entirely.

Delivery

  • Free for all UK orders. Dispatched within 5–7 business days. A tracking link is sent to your email as soon as your order is collected.

  • Currently, Glimnix ships to UK addresses only. If you are outside the United Kingdom and have a question about future availability, contact us at hello@glimnix.com.

The TiltSet Pro and CerviSync

  • No. TiltSet Pro operates during desk hours — it sits on your chair and uses your body weight to maintain lumbar positioning throughout the working day. Your VerteSync Pro session remains unchanged in timing, duration, and protocol. The two products address different stages of the same daily cycle: TiltSet Pro reduces the rate at which compression accumulates during desk hours; the VerteSync Pro then has less to reverse in the evening session.

  • No. The sessions address different anatomical regions — lumbar and cervical — with no interaction between them. Neither session is shortened by adding the other. They can run consecutively or at separate times of day. The combined daily commitment is thirty minutes: fifteen minutes for the VerteSync Pro, fifteen minutes for CerviSync.

  • Yes. Both products carry the same 30-day guarantee: no return required, device kept, full refund to your original payment method within 7–10 working days, no forms, no usage questions. The terms are identical across the entire Glimnix range.
